Saint John, N.B. – ClinicServer, a division of IBL- Internet Business Logic Inc., has joined forces with the U.K.’s Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) in an agreement that provides the CSP’s more than 50,000 members with access to the Community Edition of ClinicServer FLEX®, the company’s leading- edge, Cloud-based Clinic Management Software.
The agreement also positions ClinicServer as the exclusive IT thought leader and online content provider for the CSP’s Technology Practice Management area. The partnership will be announced at the annual CSP Congress on October 7 in Liverpool, U.K. At the same time, the co-branded Community Edition of the software will be unveiled with the tagline “Brought to you by ClinicServer in association with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.”
Already established as a market leader in North America, the company introduced its completely new ClinicServer FLEX® to the Canadian market in April at the Ontario Physiotherapy Association’s annual convention. Now ClinicServer is breaking into the European market with a new product that will be further developed for physiotherapists and other health professionals in the U.K. – a potential market of over $2 billion per year in gross revenue.
Chris Boudreau, chief executive officer of ClinicServer, said: “At ClinicServer, we recognise that flexibility and customer input make for better products. That’s why this new relationship with the CSP is so important for us. We know we have a great product that works in North America because we listen to our customers. With the CSP relationship, we now have a direct link to U.K. customers and their feedback. It will make for the best product possible for the CSP membership. Our focus is on providing a great value Clinical Management System that is secure, reliable and allows physios to get on with the important job of looking after patients.”
Stephen Alexander, chief financial officer of ClinicServer, notes: “In a recently completed study of our customers in the Canadian marketplace, we were able to demonstrate that our average customers achieved a 5 per cent year-over-year productivity increase. Other customers who took advantage of the advanced features of the system were able to achieve productivity gains of up to 20 per cent. That’s what we mean by bringing real value to our customers. That’s the kind of value we want to bring to the CSP membership. It’s only when we bring real value to our customers that we can bring real value to our current and future investors. That is how the company will grow.”
The arrangement between ClinicServer and the CSP will give CSP members access to a free version of ClinicServer’s Community Edition, which provides clinics with all they need to manage resources, patients, practitioners, rooms and equipment.
Chris Boudreau added: “Our plan is to add to the basic features of our Cloud-based product as we get feedback from CSP members. The partnership between ClinicServer and CSP aims to bring tremendous value to CSP members and we look forward to assisting them in continuing to set world-class standards in patient care.”
James Hale, the CSP’s director of marketing and communications, said: “The partnership between CSP and ClinicServer is a unique opportunity for both parties. Our members will get the opportunity to test and input to the development of a market-leading clinic management tool which will help them to manage their business in an effective way. We believe the link will be fruitful for both CSP and ClinicServer.”
