Dartmouth, N.S. – Several years ago, Dr. Cliff Arnall, a specialist in seasonal disorders, developed a formula to calculate the saddest day of the year. Using several factors including dreary weather, holiday debt and broken New Year’s resolutions, he determined that the third Monday of January was the “saddest” day of the year.
